Mori Seiki is Official Sponsor to International Skills Festival
WorldSkills London 2011 event will be supported with 24 machines of Mori Seiki’s successfully launched X Class
The WorldSkills London 2011 will take place from 5th – 8th October at the ExCeL in London Docklands. It is the world largest, international skills competition where young people from across the globe compete to become the best in their chosen skill.
The event inspire young people to realise their ambitions through vocational training and will provide the impetus for the next generation of professionals, craftspeople and entrepreneurs and leave a legacy which will promote both traditional crafts and modern innovations for the future.
The 41st World Skills competition will welcome talents from over 50 countries across 45 skill categories to compete for the title of “WorldSkills Champion”. The most highly accomplished young people selected from regional and national skill competitions will finally compete in London. 1,000 competitors are expected from 50 nations competing in 45 skills.
WorldSkills London 2011 organisers expect 150,000 visitors during the 4 days event.
Mori Seiki is supporting this biannual event for the third time, after sponsoring the Worldskills Shizuoka 2007 in Japan and the WordSkills Calgary 2009 in Canada.
At the event Mori Seiki will support with 24 brand new designed machines of the X Class. These machines were introduced into the market since end of 2010. The X-Class has evolved from the best selling N Series that sold 28,000 units. The machines are designed as a result of thousands of customers’ feedback on the N Series, and offers high quality, high precision and high reliability.
The NLX2500MC is the new universal lathes with milling specification, the NVX5100 is the new vertical machining center with high rigidity and hig capacity of cutting.
The X Class machines are next-generation premium machines and will support the young people of the next generation at WorldSkills London 2011.
Mori Seiki understands the importance of training and skills and has initated own educational programs amongst its worldwide employees.

The WorldSkills 2011 will be the biggest event in London before the Olympic Games in 2012.
